MIKE MINTENKO SCHOLARSHIP

The Mike Mintenko swimming scholarship was established to assist Olympic Stream Age Group swimmers to pursue excellence in honor of former Olympian (Sydney 2000 and Athens 2004), Mike Mintenko. The former Moose Jaw Kinsmen Flying Fin, Mike Mintenko was inducted into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame in 2012.

The Mike Mintenko Scholarship has been made possible from the proceeds of fundraising initiatives that Mike and his family undertook related to his journey to Athens in 2004 and from the fundraising clinics and dinner held in October 2013.

The intent of the scholarship is to assist Olympic Stream Age Group swimmers to pursue excellence.
