Coaches in Saskatchewan are members of

• Swim Saskatchewan

• Swimming Canada

• Canadian Swim Coaches Association (CSCA) 

REQUIREMENTS

NEW COACHES must:

1. Be a minimum of 15 years old.

2. Be fully registered as a coach in REMS

3. Provide a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check to Swim Sask

4. Complete Respect in Sport certification

5. Complete the Make Ethical Decisions eLearning module and complete the NCCP Education (Swimming Teacher, Community Sport Coach, or Fundamentals/Swimming 101)

Swimming Canada - National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP)

Swimming Canada - Maintenance of Training and Certification.

Swim Saskatchewan - Coach Registration, Training & Certification, and Compliance Policy
